Paul Martin named general manager of Verandah Community Association
12/18/09   Paul Martin has been named general manager of the Verandah Community Association, as well as club controller for Verandah Club and Sweetwater Landing.

Verandah is a 1,456-acre master-planned community located along a 1.75-mile stretch of the Orange River in Fort Myers. Verandah Club is the community's private membership club offering 36 holes of golf, a restaurant, and a tennis and fitness center. Sweetwater Landing is the marina facility located on the Caloosahatchee River, about a mile from Verandah.

Martin, who previously served as club controller for The Brooks in Bonita Springs and as regional general manager for Bonita Bay Group, is a licensed community association manager and a member of the Urban Land Institute. He also serves as vice president of the Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida and chair of the Verandah East and Verandah West Community Development Districts.

Martin is a graduate of the University of South Florida and earned his master's in accounting and taxation at Florida Gulf Coast University.
