|William Delayo Jr. Named General Manager of Shadow Wood Country Club
Bill Delayo Jr. has been appointed general manager of Shadow Wood Country Club at The Brooks, a members-only amenity with membership open to residents of Shadow Wood and Shadow Wood Preserve. In his new position, he will oversee all private membership operations and services, club activities and events, dining, food and beverage services and the nine-court tennis complex. Responsibilities also include management of all golf operations, which offers three members-only championship golf courses and a second clubhouse. Award-winning architect Bob Cupp designed the two courses at Shadow Wood. The third was designed by architect Arthur Hills at Shadow Wood Preserve, where a clubhouse and pro shop serve members.

Mr. Delayo has more than 15 years of experience in club and golf operations management. He has served as general manager and chief operating officer of two clubs owned and operated by the PGA Tour -- the Tournament Players Club of Louisiana in New Orleans and the Tournament Players Club at Heron Bay in Coral Springs, Fla. Past experience also includes serving as general manager and chief operating officer of Shaker Run Golf Club in Lebanon, Ohio and regional director of operations for Billy Casper Golf Management in Vienna, Va.
He is a class “A” member of the PGA, an accomplished PGA professional and is currently working toward his PGA specialty certification in general management.
Mr. Delayo holds a bachelor of science degree in accountancy from Villanova University, where he was a member of the golf team from 1983 - 1987. Mr. Delayo and his family, wife Jennifer and daughter Lindsay (4), are excited to be a part of the Bonita Bay Group team.
