TWINEAGLES
More than a breathtaking master-planned community, TwinEagles is a destination for those whose love for golf is second to their love of living well. TwinEagles is the home of the Talon, an 18-hole championship golf course co-designed by Jack and Jack Nicklaus II and a second course, designed by Gary Player. Dr. Jim Suttie offers a year-round golf academy.
Inspired by the spectacular oak trees throughout the site, award-winning golf course architect Bob Cupp has created Old Orange in the image of timeless, classical courses like Winged Foot and Oakmont that were created in the 1910s and 1920s.
Whispering Oaks, designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his son, Jack Nicklaus, Jr. has been added as a second 18-hole championship course at Verandah – creating a truly exceptional Southwest Florida golf experience. Verandah has a variety of membership opportunities.
Robert Cupp, voted Best Course Designer 10 of the last 11 years by Golf Digest, has created two courses at Shadow Wood Country Club that golfers of all levels will appreciate. The club's third championship course was designed by Arthur Hills and is located at Shadow Wood Preserve on U.S. 41 about five miles north of The Brooks. Along these meticulously landscaped courses, members test their game against sweeping fairways, challenging pin placements and breathtaking vistas. Pro shops, offering a variety of golf apparel and equipment, are available at both locations.
