Bonita Bay's Dorothy Williams Earns PCAM Designation
Bonita Bay's Dorothy Williams Earns PCAM Designation Dorothy Williams, director of design for the Bonita Bay Community Association, has earned the Professional Community Association Manager designation from the Community Associations Institute in Alexandria, Va. Williams is one of only 1,725 managers nationwide to have earned the highest level of professional recognition in the community association field.

Williams joined the Bonita Bay Community Association in January 2000. She chairs the Design Review Committee, ensuring the consistency and aesthetic standards of the 2,400-acre master-planned community. Williams manages the design-review process for single-family homes, multi-family neighborhoods, the high-rises and all exterior modifications within Bonita Bay, working with residents, builders, architects and landscape designers. She is a member of the national CAI and the South Gulf Coast Chapter of CAI.

To earn the PCAM designation, managers must have at least five years of community association management experience, complete more than 100 hours of course work and a case study, and have earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations and Association Management Specialist designations. Williams' case study subject was a 15,000-resident community in Virginia.

Some 50 million Americans live in the nation's estimated 250,000 association-governed communities. The Community Associations Institute is dedicated to fostering vibrant, competent, harmonious community associations, providing education and resources to the volunteer homeowners who govern community associations and the professionals who support them.

Bonita Bay, a 2,400-acre master-planned community, is bordered by Spring Creek, Estero Bay, Imperial River and U.S. 41. The community has been included among Travel + Leisure Golf's top 100 golf communities in America each year since 2006 and on Links Magazine's 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2008-09 lists of America's Premier Properties. Bonita Bay has five golf courses, three waterfront parks, a private beach park on the Gulf, full-service marina, fitness center and tennis and swim center.

Sales are under way for luxury high-rises being developed along Estero Bay by The Lutgert Companies. To learn more, visit the Premier Properties Sales Center at the entrance to the community on U.S. 41 in Bonita Springs, call 866-314-2838, or log onto www.BonitaBayHighRises.com.
